Meet the Team
The team at Tamnavulin may be small, but it is full of dedicated, skilled craftspeople who love nothing more than creating our sweet, smooth and fruity Speyside single malt whisky for you.
Keep scrolling to meet the people behind the single malt with double flavour.

Meet Kirsty
Kirsty is Tamnavulin’s whisky blender and is responsible for the quality and development of our whisky. After studying Chemistry at university, Kirsty happened upon a job at a local distillery as part of the quality control process.
Kirsty admits she hadn’t really thought much about the intricacies of making whisky, but it didn’t take long for her to fall in love with it. From there, Kirsty got the chance to train as a blender and hasn't looked back.
“For me, it’s all about flavour and balance. Our maturation journey allows us to perfectly balance our fruity distillery style with layers of flavour from a second cask, making Tamnavulin a whisky that can be enjoyed in many ways”.

Meet Leon
Born and raised a short distance from the distillery, Leon is Tamnavulin’s Distillery Manager. His lifelong passion for whisky led him to leave a career in finance to follow his dream of one day managing a whisky distillery.
Since then, his love of whisky has taken him to distilleries around the world, but when he saw the chance to come ‘back home’ to Tamnavulin, he grabbed it.
“I believe whisky is for everyone, and Tamnavulin provides a perfect opportunity to welcome people into the wonderful world of whisky – it’s a true signature Speyside Single Malt”.
